About Us

We are a family business founded in 2007 by Trevor and Diane Pettitt, based in Long Green, South Worcestershire. Trevor deals with the site work whilst Diane covers most of the administrative tasks.

We have always had an interest in historic buildings and, living in a timber-framed Grade II Listed property, we have first hand experience of many of the issues associated with older buildings.

We aim to provide advice and practical solutions for the conservation, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of old buildings ranging from small barns and cottages to larger churches and manor houses, including Grade II and II* Listed structures. We specialise in small to mid scale projects.

We understand the materials and techniques used in the  construction of most buildings built prior to 1900 and the problems, particularly dampness and decay, caused when modern, moisture-traping materials such as cements and plastic paints are used inappropriately on these buildings. For most of our work we use traditional materials and techniques.

We have numerous satisfied clients who use us repeatedly for repair and maintenance projects on their much loved period and traditional properties.
